Watch as we create this USA Map Puzzle in 1/4" thick aluminum, carbon fiber, laminated melamine, plastic & wood using Amana Tool® industrial solid carbide and carbide tipped CNC router bits.
Andy Glass from Glass Impressions uses his CNC machine to cut each state from the variety of materials listed above. Using Amana's 1/8" Dia. Compression Spiral CNC Solid Carbide Router Bit #46180 to cut the perimeter of the United States in laminated melamine, he then plunges 1/4" deep with the Mini Insert CNC Spoilboard Router Bit #RC-2250 to remove the remaining melamine so that the puzzle can be assembled into place.
