  Shrink Fit Chuck HSK-63F 

  The new shrink fit chucks are high-precision toolholders designed to provide enhanced accuracy by minimizing coupling. This is achieved through a unique thermal clamping process that tightly grips the tool’s shank. 

  Here’s how it works: First, the collet tip is heated using a specialized shrink fit unit, which causes it to expand. The tool shank is then inserted into the collet, and the cooling machine cools the collet back to ambient temperature. This process ensures a secure fit, offering the operator superior precision, improved stability, faster feed rates for high performance, and ultimately longer tool life.
