We did it! Watch as artist and upcyclist Tim Sway makes an electric guitar using Amana Tool® CNC and handheld router bits with reclaimed materials. Tim was given a solid butcher block kitchen countertop, and instantly saw the potential make a custom guitar.
Using a variety of discarded materials such as aluminum signs from a sign shop, wood scrap and old LP records, Tim’s guitar is a beautifully rough, artistic piece of work that has a unique sound when he jams to it. Tim says his goal is to make “worthless things priceless.” We think he succeeded!
Vectric Aspire was used for 3D modeling and Cam work. ToolsToday provided product.
