CNC Project: 3D Lunar Carving

Custom designed Lunar CNC Carving in HDU Foam by Pierre-Luc Arseneau from Pla3d.com using Amana Tool® Router Bits, ArtCam and and the Iconic X Series CNC machine.

Pierre uses white and black pastels to represent height and recess of the Lunar drawing. He will take a photo of it, bring it into ArtCam and then manually smooth out the surface before raising his peaks and valleys of the vectors.
