Watch as Tyson puts his sign making skills into action with Amana Tool®’s 1/8" diameter Solid Carbide Spektra™ Extreme Tool Life Coated Down-Cut Router Bit. He cuts the Spektra logo into 1" thick laminated melamine on his Carbide 3D CNC machine
Down-Cut router bits leave a smooth finish on the top of the material while Up-Cut router bits leave a smooth finish on the bottom of the material.
Spektra™ bits feature a nACo® nanocomposite coating with an extreme nanohardness and heat resistance. With a brilliant, distinctively-tinted coloring, nACo provides additional improvements in critical aspects of router tooling which results in extreme tool longevity and cuts of the highest quality.
