Watch as we create this Wooden Gingerbread House with 3/4" thick pine on a General® iCarver CNC machine using Amana Tool® industrial solid carbide spiral CNC router bits.

Pierre-Luc Arseneau from CNCcraze.com sketches the Gingerbread House design on paper, scans it to his computer and traces his sketch in Coral Draw to create the vectors. After exporting his tool paths to his thumb drive, he imports the files directly into his CNC machine to begin cutting.

The Amana Tool 1/4" Dia Solid Carbide Spiral Flute Plunge Down Cut Router Bit #46415 roughs the material where you can begin to see the house starting to take shape. The Amana Tool 1/16" Dia Solid Carbide Spiral Ball Nose 2D/3D Carving CNC Router Bit #46282 performs the detailed finishing cuts. Pierre then hand paints and assembles the house for completion.
