Amana Tool ogee router bits in stock ready to ship today. We have a large selection of industrial quality carbide tipped router bits available.
The ogee is one of the basic shapes used in moldings and decorative profiles. An S-shaped curve, it is convex at the top fairing down into a concave (shown inverted). The ogee bit is characterized by the concave shape coming off the pilot bearing.
Using the optional 3/8" bearing produces a profile with a fillet at the convex end of the curve.
Use in handheld or table-mounted router.
Recommendation: The miniature router bits with 3/16" and 1/4" diameter ball bearing guides were designed for use in intricate and delicate projects with or without tight spaces. Do not flush trim material more than half the diameter of the bearing and slow down feed to reduce load. Not guaranteed due to their extremely small size.
Profile A is with standard ball bearing.
Profile B is with optional 3/8" bearing #47702.
#MR0104 is a Roman Ogee Bit with Miniature Ball Bearing Guide.
