Thin kerf blades are designed for miter smooth cuts; less drag on bearings and brake and reduces stock loss on expensive woods and veneer plywoods. Not recommended to cut stock over 3/4" without the use of a stabilizer. TCG grind may also be used for cutting thin Plexiglas®, masonite and plastics.
