With the RC 1004 bits that we use, the only thing we have problems with is the screws that hold the cutters in strip. You have to get the screws in just right and the screws are small, so some of the guys in the shop put them in and tighten the screws a little crooked. Need to find out if the bits can be retapped. They have saved us on sharpening cost's. We use them with acrylic solid surface.
